Outside Sales Representative

Belton, MO

KC Stone, LLC based in Belton, MO is a full service residential and light commercial masonry contracting company founded in 2022. We are a new startup company with owners who have been in the industry 20+ years with a wealth of contacts and industry knowledge. We have an immediate opening for an outside sales professional to promote and sell all aspects of our business offerings, who must be based in the Kansas City metro area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Promote and help to continue the growth and development of KC Stone, LLC

· Be able to effectively follow a business plan and execute

· Foster new and existing customer relationships through market prospecting

· Expand market and increase sales volumes year over year

· Deliver or exceed profit margin expectations

· Educate clients on product offerings and our companies' expertise

· Communicate with all employees in our network

· Measure and calculate areas for material installation

· Initiate, maintain, manage, and process quotations and orders in accordance with company policy, procedures, and requirements

· Resolve any customer issues, problems, or complaints to satisfy the customer

· Attend and participate in all sales or company meetings

· Pursue increasing knowledge of products, markets and competitors

· Follow KC Stone, LLC sales policies and procedures

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

· Professional business acumen

· Excellent communicational skills both written and verbal

· Organized, detail oriented and self-starter

· Computer skills that include but are not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Docs

· Ability to speak publicly with confidence and poise

· Not afraid to get dirty on the jobsite

· Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced work environment

· Prompt follow up and thorough documentation skills

· Do what you are say you are going to do—honesty, integrity, trustworthy & committed

· Team player attitude

· Ability to read building plans (preferred) not required

· College degree (preferred) not required

· Bilingual (preferred) not required

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee should have the ability to do the following:

• Meet clients in person and in an office setting
• Professional phone skills
• Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
• Withstand exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors
• Be exposed to sounds and noise levels that at times can be uncomfortable
• Ability to work around dirt, dust and other various environmental conditions
• Operate/drive a company truck with a good driving record and valid license
• Minimum of an 8 hour work day (more if needed but within reason)
• Monday - Friday (weekends and nights if needed)
• Some overnight travel could be possible

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
