Join our dedicated team at Boston Speech Therapy as a Paraprofessional!

As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers and supporting students with their educational needs. Your efforts will be crucial in providing a nurturing environment for students to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities
• Provide individualized support to students, ensuring they stay engaged and focused
• Help manage classroom behavior and promote a positive learning environment
• Support the execution of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collect data and assist in assessments as required
• Collaborate with educational staff to continually enhance student learning experiences

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree or higher in Education or a related field is preferred
• Experience working with children, especially in a special education context, is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A capacity for teamwork and collaboration with teachers and support personnel
• Empathy, patience, and a strong desire to empower students in their learning journey
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies is an asset

Benefits
